I hope you are safe and well.
After today's announcement of the National lockdown, I can confirm that we will move back into Red readiness level from 5th January 2021. This means that we can not attend any Face-To-Face sessions until further notice and will return to Virtual Scouting from the 14 January via Google Meet.
UPDATE 02/04/2020- VIRTUAL SESSIONS- We can confirm that our virtual sessions will continue until we return to face-to-face Scouting. After careful consideration, we have agreed that our virtual session will also continue throughout the summer holidays, with a break of 1 week for planning.
UPDATE 02/04/2020- As sessions are still suspended due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic our leaders are still in the Scouting spirit. We have been setting challenges at home and are looking into virtual sessions for all our members- parents will receive information about this in due course.
UPDATE 16/03/2020- As of 17th March 2020 all sessions have been suspended until further notice on the advice of The Scout Association.
We will keep you updated as often as possible regarding suspensions of sessions and events.
We thank your continued support at this time.
Update 13/03/2020: At this time we still do not have any current plans to suspend sessions or events. We will continue to follow the latest advice and guidelines from the government, NHS, local authorities and The Scout Association.
At this time we will no longer be providing drinks to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in the interest of safety and ask that they bring their own (in a bottle). Cubs are welcome to bring a small snack.
We will not be running the tuck shop until further notice.
On arrival- We ask that everyone entering the building washes their hands/uses hand sanitizer.
We are still in the process of contacting some parents regarding COVID-19 and the group's plans.
All residential trips are being reviewed weekly and all parents/carers will be notified of any changes.
If you have any questions please contact us.
